    Objective: Assist Austin NOW in executing a targeted Get Out The Vote (GOTV) campaign aimed at increasing voter registration and participation in marginalized communities.

    Team Roles and Responsibilities for Austin NOW's GOTV Project

     Volunteer Coordinator

    • Responsibilities:
    • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various GOTV activities.
    • Schedule volunteer shifts and ensure adequate coverage for all events.
    • Provide support and guidance to volunteers during their shifts.
    • Maintain volunteer records and track participation.
    • Recognize and appreciate volunteer contributions.

    Volunteer Outreach Coordinator

    • Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage marginalized and underrepresented communities.
    • Collaborate with local organizations and community leaders.
    • Coordinate door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and peer-to-peer texting campaigns.
