Overview of Position:
The Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia, (LASEV), seeks a Finance Officer to be a key member of our management team and have direct responsibility for the firm’s accounting and financial operations. This is a full-time position located in our Norfolk office. Founded in 1966, LASEV is a non-profit public interest law firm serving low-income clients in a variety of civil legal matters. Our mission is to promote the equal application of justice and remove impediments to fairness for the low-income and vulnerable families of eastern Virginia. We strive to both meet the individual legal needs of our clients and to challenge systemic injustice and the root causes of poverty and inequality. A passion for justice and a commitment to poverty law is a must.

Annual salary DOE, however starting salary is $80,000
Benefits: Excellent benefits package including health/dental/vision, disability and retirement benefits.
This position is full time (37.5 hours per week) on-site.
