    About the Facilities Coordinator:

    BRIC seeks a Facilities Coordinator to assist community producers in using the

    equipment and facilities offered by BRIC’s community media center.

    What You’ll Do in the Role:

    The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the following in addition to any other

    projects as assigned by their manager, the Community Producer Services Manager:

    • Staff the public equipment room and process requests from community

    producers at BRIC and at off site checkout centers. This includes scheduling

    equipment and studio use, properly checking equipment in and out,

    processing training class applications, making database entries and handling

    inquiries for media center activities.

    • Transfer video material for community producers and other in-house needs.
    • Assist community producers with the use of media production and editing

    equipment.

    • Assist on community producers studio shoots as needed.
    • Respond to telephone calls about scheduling and other matters.
    • Assist with staff television shoots and postproduction.
    • Assist with Brooklyn Free Speech special events as needed.
    • Prepare facilities for orientations, media education classes, and meetings.
    • Assist community producers with uploading media into ingestion stations
    • Assist on community producers studio shoots as needed.
    • Assist producers with remote Zoom recordings.

    • Experience & Qualifications:
    • Production: Candidates should have at least one year of on-field or in-

    studio production experience. Editing experience is a plus but not

    required.

    • Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

    and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Communication: An emotionally intelligent, values, and results-driven team

    player who can collaborate across departments and at all levels of the

    organization. An excellent and punctual communicator who prioritizes

    customer service.

    • Commitment to Equity & Inclusion: Brings experience operationalizing

    equity within this role.

    • Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $45k - $50k.
    • Status and location: This is a full-time position under a collective bargaining

    agreement with NABET.

    plans and more. BRIC currently pays 100% of the premium for employee

    medical, dental and vision coverage starting on the first of the month after 2
