The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) is a national not-for-profit organization founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School professor Michael Porter to drive inclusive economic prosperity in under-resourced communities through innovative research and programs to create jobs, income, and wealth for local residents. Department Overview
The Data Strategy & Innovation (DSI) department serves as ICIC’s innovation incubator, with the primary function of developing, launching, and cultivating strategic new programs and initiatives within the organization. DSI is also responsible for implementing data strategies across ICIC, including managing the organization’s use of Salesforce and related platforms and serving as a central technical resource for internal teams. Position Summary
The Senior Program Coordinator, DSI, will primarily be responsible for managing the launch and ongoing operations of the emerging Manufacturing Accelerator Program (MAP), which is set to begin its inaugural cohort in 2025. Key responsibilities include: managing the recruitment of small businesses for the inaugural and future cohorts; coordinating the participation of program instructors and mentors; managing program operations, including virtual classroom logistics and day-to-day communications with participants; and coordinating data collection for internal and external impact reporting. Additionally, this role will support other initiatives within the DSI department as needed to meet business requirements.
