About: Too Young to Wed (TYTW) is a global organization working to protect, uplift, and stand with girls who have survived violence, displacement, and harmful social and gender norms such as FGM/C and child marriage. TYTW envisions a world where every girl can decide for herself, if, when and to whom she will marry; girls are free to be children and teens, with access to gender-specific healthcare and all levels of education; all girls are free to determine the course of their own lives. Globally, TYTW develops girl-centered education and empowerment programs in fragile and conflict-affected contexts in Africa, SE Asia and MENA helping girls gain knowledge and skills that enable them to feel empowered, build resilience and improve their education, health, livelihood and overall well being.
