The SkillSource Group, Inc.

The SkillSource Group, Inc. was created in 2003 as the non-profit fiscal agent of Virginia Career Works - Northern with a mandate to support its workforce programs and services at seven Virginia Career Works Centers. SkillSource represents over 2 million residents and thousands of businesses in Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties and the cities of Fairfax, Falls Church, Manassas and Manassas Park. SkillSource delivers programs that provide employment and training services that are easily accessible to both employers and job seekers. Jobseekers, as well as employers, utilize the Virginia Career Works Centers to seek employment and to recruit a qualified workforce. Individuals determined eligible for Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act services can receive extensive training and resources focusing on increasing their employment, retention and earnings, and increasing their occupational skill attainment.
