Abode Services is a respected leader in ending homelessness for the most vulnerable people living in our community. Founded in 1988 as a small grassroots organization in Fremont, today we are one of the Bay Area's most far-reaching and innovative providers of sustainable housing solutions for homeless and special needs populations. Our housing and support services programs help end the painful cycle of homelessness for hundreds of individuals and families, while saving potentially millions of dollars each year in public costs to the community. In our last fiscal year, we served more than 10,531 people in Alameda, Napa, Santa Clara, San Mateo and Santa Cruz Counties. For the tenth year in a row, Charity Navigator, one of the largest non-profit evaluators, has awarded Abode Services its top four-star rating. This rating recognizes Abode Services' sound fiscal management practices and commitment to accountability and transparency as it works to end homelessness.
