SNAPkids - Special Needs Aquatic Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving children and young adults with disabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 1991, SNAPkids has provided accessible community-based swimming to an underserved population of children with complex conditions which alter their health and quality of life. Through swimming, children develop pride, self-confidence, and friendships while having fun. Volunteers build meaningful relationships that foster respect, diversity, and inclusion, helping to create more equitable communities.
The Opportunity
We are a small but mighty team on a mission to support children with disabilities. We’re looking for a team player to join us in spreading the message of respect, community, and inclusion while coordinating our classes and expanding our programs. We are seeking a team member who is personable, highly organized, and capable of managing deadlines and unexpected changes. They should have a growth-oriented, forward-thinking mindset and a strong dedication to creating positive and successful experiences for our community. The goals for this position include ensuring our programs run safely and smoothly, maintaining a well-trained staff, fostering a strong sense of community, and helping us expand our offerings to serve more families.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a team member with a growth and entrepreneurial mindset who is eager to build and expand our programs to support the needs of today and tomorrow. This role requires someone dedicated and committed for the long term, with the initiative to identify what needs to be done, determine the best way to do it, adjust course as needed, and follow through to ensure goals are met. The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others is paramount to success in this position.
