Position: Intake Officer
Job Description: The Intake Officer is primarily responsible for receiving incoming calls regarding workplace grievances, opening cases in the system, and processing/tracking said cases as they move through the organization’s grievance and arbitration system. The Intake Officer also provides administrative assistance to the rest of the team by updating databases, accessing files, note-taking, preparing mailings and performing other administrative tasks as needed. The Intake Officer must adapt quickly to changing priorities, a fast-paced work environment and short turnaround times.
