Position Summary
The Scaling Discourse Project Coordinator (Coordinator) will support Campus Compact’s Scaling Discourse in Higher Education Project. It is part of the larger, strategic Public Discourse Initiative that assists colleges and universities in embedding dialogue, discourse, and bridge-building across the institution. The Scaling Discourse in Higher Education Project focuses on strengthening the capacity of colleges and universities to engage with evidence-based, inclusive, and constructive dialogue, discourse, and bridge-building tools. The Coordinator's responsibilities are in three key support areas: project management, data management, and product development. The Coordinator will collaborate with Compact staff members, most frequently the Special Projects Manager (SPM), and directly support the Scaling Discourse in Higher Education Project Team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the flexibility to work with individuals across multiple time zones are essential for this position.
This is a part-time, contract, and remote position (No benefits). Currently, the position is funded from February through June 30, 2025.
Position Focus:
The Coordinator will primarily focus on (1) supporting Project team members in the development of an easy-to-navigate web platform featuring dialogue, discourse, and bridge-building resources and programs; (2) communicating with Project team members as they complete project tasks; (3) identifying, gathering, and organizing, information; and (4) ensuring project deliverables are accurate and error-free.
