    The Role

    Anthos|Home is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housing Retention Associate to join our STEHP Eviction Prevention Program. Reporting to the Housing Retention Supervisor, the Associate will play a critical role in delivering services to at-risk households, fostering positive landlord-tenant relationships, and ensuring compliance with program standards. The Housing Retention Associate will engage directly with participants, offering tailored support to enhance housing stability and prevent homelessness.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct intake assessments to determine participant eligibility and needs based on STEHP guidelines.
    • Develop strengths-based service plans focusing on budgeting, employment, and housing stability.
    • Provide monthly check-ins through in person visits, phone calls, or virtual meetings to monitor progress.
    • Facilitate tenant education sessions covering rights, responsibilities, and housing retention strategies.
    • Act as a liaison between participants and landlords to mediate disputes and address housing concerns.
    • Collaborate with landlords to resolve issues related to lease compliance or rental arrears.
    • Maintain thorough and confidential participant files, documenting progress and case notes.
    • Assist in compiling data for required reports and compliance with HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) standards.
    • Coordinate with external agencies to connect participants to resources such as mental health, legal, and employment services.
    • Participate in the on-call rotation to address urgent participant needs after hours as needed.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Passion for the mission of Anthos|Home and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
    • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in housing or human services.
    • Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
    • Ability to use public transportation or meet travel requirements with reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to ascend/descend stairs at locations without elevator access.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive salary: $55,000-$57,000 annually.
    • Hybrid work environment (3-5 days in the field/office per week).
