    DESCRIPTION

    New Futures, New Hampshire’s leading health policy and advocacy organization, is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support New Futures general operational needs, including administrative work, event planning, coordinating and participation, and general project-based work. This is a part-time, hourly non-exempt position based in Concord, NH.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist with meeting scheduling, logistics, preparation, note taking and follow-up, as needed
    • Provide logistics and support for retreats, business meetings, annual meetings and events
    • Provide general support including copying, mailing, filing and retrieving daily mail
    • Prepare, enter or proofread data in any format, as requested by the Vice President of Finance and Operations
    • Set up procedures or checklists to maintain supplies for the entire office, including specific materials needed by teams, and do a weekly order when needed
    • Support workgroups and committees as assigned by the Vice President of Finance and Operations
    • Provide program or administrative assistance to New Futures shared service partners, as assigned
    • Serve as contact for phone inquiries from the general public, stakeholders, funders, etc.
    • Organize and maintain paper filing system and electronic files of necessary information
    • Execute mass mailings, as necessary
    • Set up and break down conference room for meetings
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Minimum requirements for this position include:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills to serve New Futures shared service clients.
    • Well organized and eager to problem-solve internal and external office-related issues
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong administrative and organizational skills
    • Ability to function under pressure and meet strict deadlines
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high functioning professional team
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite essential
    • Excellent critical thinking skills

    HOURS: This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position at 22.5 hours per week, which may be flexible at times.

    Compensation & Benefits: New Futures offers competitive part time benefits including: Life insurance; 403(b) retirement 5% salary match after 1 continuous year of employment; paid time off for individual holidays; sick, vacation and personal time; cell phone reimbursement; remote work options (as reasonably feasible based on position and nature of work); and, ongoing professional development opportunities, among others. Starting hourly wage for this position is $19 - $21 per hour.
