The Coalition for Spiritual and Public Leadership (CSPL) is seeking a full-time Operations and Finance Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of CSPL. This position is responsible for overseeing financial management, day-to-day operations, and human resources, ensuring alignment with CSPL's mission and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit operations, financial management and planning, coupled with a commitment to social justice and grassroots community agency and empowerment.

What You’ll Do
The Operations and Finance Manager is responsible for working with the Executive Director, Leadership Team and Staff on the following:
Operations Management:
Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team in the development, execution and implementation of strategic plans that advance CSPL's mission and goals.
Policy Development: Support the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Human Resources Management: Contribute to HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management. Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain employee records.
Technology and Infrastructure: Support the management of office technology, including hardware, software, data systems, security and integrity of organizational data.
Office Management: Support the proper administrative operations of the office and supervise the office administrative staff person.
Program Support:
Program Coordination: Work closely with program directors to align financial and operational resources with programmatic needs.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Assist in the development of metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and support continuous improvement efforts.
Event Coordination: Work collaboratively with staff and members to plan and organize major organizational events (ex: annual CSPL Congress logistics) and support the operations and logistics planning for key organizational events.
Financial Management:
Budgeting and Financial Planning: Work with Executive Director and finance committee to develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with CSPL's strategic objectives. Collaborate with senior staff and CSPL’s accountant to forecast financial needs and monitor expenditures.
Accounting Oversight: Support oversight of accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, transparency and compliance with donor restrictions, grant requirements, and reconciliation of bank statements in collaboration with CSPL’s Executive Director, accountant and finance committee.
Audit and Compliance: Coordinate annual audits with CSPL accountant and ensure compliance with 501(c)(3) regulations and other applicable financial standards.
