The Position
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Communications and Digital Operations, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports social media efforts across all of the organization’s social media platforms, including but not limited to content creation, social media campaigns, digital marketing, and tracking social media analytics. This position is also responsible for updating and editing the organization’s website. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will also provide support in composing and editing the production of a full range of material (online and print) to effectively support the advancement goals of the organization and to convey the organizations mission to diverse constituencies. This position regularly supports the fund raising, programs/events and constituency development efforts of the organization. Travel is expected and required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Proficient in speaking and reading English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
