    Virtual Assistant to the Executive Director – Nonprofit Organization

    Are you an organized and tech-savvy professional looking to make a meaningful impact from anywhere? Join our nonprofit organization as a Volunteer Virtual Assistant to the Executive Director! In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support, helping the Executive Director focus on leading our mission-driven work.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the Executive Director’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
    • Handle email correspondence and communication on behalf of the Executive Director.
    • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and ensure timely follow-ups on action items.
    • Assist with research, data entry, and preparing reports for programs and initiatives.
    • Organize and maintain electronic files and records.
    • Support the coordination of virtual and in-person events, including board meetings and fundraising activities.
    • Help draft correspondence, presentations, and other materials as needed.
    • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Executive Director.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).
    • Experience in administrative support or nonprofit work is a plus but not required.
    • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Passion for community service and alignment with our mission.

    Time Commitment:

    Approximately 10-15 hours per month, with flexibility based on the Executive Director’s needs and organizational priorities.
