    The Challenge

    Galamsey activities have polluted Ghanaโ€™s rivers with mercury and toxic chemicals, making water unsafe for drinking, farming, and fishing. Many communities are struggling to access clean water, while aquatic life is disappearing. Itโ€™s time to take action and reclaim our rivers! ๐ŸŒŠ

    Volunteer Roles and Activities

    • ๐Ÿ’ง River Restoration Activist: Help clean polluted water bodies and protect natural water sources.
    • ๐Ÿšฐ Safe Water Advocate: Educate communities on the dangers of polluted water and promote safer alternatives.
    • ๐Ÿ”ฌ Water Quality Specialist: Test and analyze water samples to assess pollution levels and recommend solutions.
    • ๐ŸŒฑ Reforestation Champion: Lead tree-planting campaigns along riverbanks to prevent soil erosion and pollution.
    • ๐Ÿ“ฃ Galamsey Awareness Ambassador: Raise awareness about the impacts of Galamsey and advocate for policy changes.

    What Youโ€™ll Do

    • Collaborate with local groups to remove waste and pollutants from rivers.

    Volunteer Fee

    A $600 fee per volunteer includes:
