    Description

    STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

    Location: Remote

    Time Commitment: 2 hours per week for job fairs; 30 minutes per week for volunteer team meetings.

    Commitment Duration: 3 months.

    Description: As an HR Recruitment Team Lead, you will oversee and guide the recruitment team, ensuring effective and efficient hiring processes. This role involves developing and implementing recruitment strategies, evaluating candidates, and maintaining a positive experience for all candidates. You will also collaborate with hiring managers to tailor recruitment processes to meet organizational needs. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain valuable experience in recruitment management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide guidance and support to the recruitment team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

    • Create and implement full-cycle recruitment strategies to attract and select top talent.

    • Continuously assess candidates, schedule, and conduct interviews, ensuring a thorough evaluation process.

    • Maintain clear communication and provide timely feedback to candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

    • Work closely with hiring managers to develop and refine tailored recruitment processes that align with organizational goals.

    Requirements: 

    • Proven experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on recruitment or HR.

    • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices.

    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with candidates and hiring managers.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and details efficiently while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

    • Ability to work effectively with others and provide support and guidance to team members.
