    Volunteer Partnership and Alliance Specialist

    Location: Remote/Virtual (Preference for volunteers located in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, California)

    Overview:

    ONE i/e, a 501c-3 nonprofit, is dedicated to empowering nonprofit leaders and entrepreneurs through education, networking, and resources. We are seeking a volunteer with contacts in the SBDC and Chamber world to establish partnerships with identify potential partners within California who One I/E can work with,, which might include local government organizations, other non-profits, for-profit organizations and others as suitable. The goal is to provide programming or services to their networks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Networking: Utilize existing connections and networks to identify potential partners within Chambers of Commerce, SBDCs, and economic development organizations.
    • Research: Identify local Chambers of Commerce, SBDCs, and economic development organizations that align with ONE i/e's mission and goals.
    • Proposal Development: Tailor partnership proposals to each organization's specific needs and priorities.
    • Partnership Development: Approach and secure partnerships to provide programming, workshops, mentorship, or services to small business members and clients.
    • Collaboration: Work with the ONE i/e team to gather necessary information and ensure proposals align with organizational goals.
    • Tracking: Monitor and report on the status of partnership proposals and agreements.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in outreach, business development, or partnership management.
    • Strong research skills to identify potential partners.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling and persuasive partnership proposals.
    • Ability to tailor proposals to specific organizational needs and priorities.
    • Access to networks within Chambers of Commerce, SBDCs, and economic development organizations.
    • Ability to commit 6 to 8 hours per month to outreach activities.
    • Preference for volunteers located in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, California.
