    University Unitarian Church has been in Seattle for over 100 years. First established in 1913 on a site near the University of Washington campus, UUC is now located in the Ravenna-Bryant neighborhood and serves a congregation of 500 members from around the Puget Sound area. UUC is well known for its leadership and partnerships in social justice work in the community, as well as the quality of its worship services and its music and education programs. UUC's mission is to be "a community that covenants to awaken spirit, nurture hope, and inspire action."
