    Description

    Works closely with the Associate Minister for Community Engagement, and collaboratively with other staff and lay leaders to support a caring, inclusive and spiritually meaningful church experience for UUC members, friends, and visitors. This position requires at least 2 years of experience in volunteer coordination, program management, marketing, stewardship or office administration in a church or other service organization. Full-time, onsite, Sundays through Thursdays.

    • Provide and oversee volunteers in providing timely email, phone, or in-person response to church visitors, members, and friends to requests for information, scheduling meetings, using church member portal
    • Perform and oversee volunteers in performing regular data management tasks such as updating contact information, attendance tracking, creating routine reports, custom queries
    • Support Connections Team and Sunday Welcoming Team volunteers and team leads, including their work in scheduling and leading Exploring UU classes, Sunday Information Sessions, connecting newcomers with groups, and recruitment, training, scheduling, acknowledging Sunday volunteers. Greeters, Ushers, Coffee Crew
    • Work closely with other staff and volunteers in maintaining and refreshing UUC website and other communications media, including PowerPoint slideshows, creating, auditing and updating web and social media content.
    • As interested and as time allows, may support development of Young Adult Ministries and/or other affinity and interest groups, or Chapel AV stage direction/production and/or posting of Sunday Service recordings.
    • Other duties as assigned. Position responsibilities may evolve over time.
