HLA exists to break the cycle of isolation that keeps people unhoused. We foster cohesion by building attentive relationships on the street that promote dignity, health, and housing. Through these relationships, we partner with clients to help them accomplish their goals and facilitate mutual understanding between housed and unhoused individuals.

Through dedicated immersion, we have developed a highly effective method to fulfill our mission and restore dignity and hope. This threefold approach focuses on nurturing clients, adapting our perspective on both problems and solutions, and bringing the entire community together.

The help desk is a transformational space where unhoused individuals can connect with people and resources in their lives. It is a true co-creation that evolves as we continue to learn from and collaborate with our unhoused clients and the surrounding community.
