  • About Us

Located at the head of Wall Street, the Parish of Trinity Church has been at the center of life in lower Manhattan since before the naion was formed. Trinity was established by royal charter in 1697, and is, at its core, an Episcopal parish, offering daily worship services and faith formation programs at Trinity Church, St. Paul's Chapel, and online at trinitywallstreet.org.

Today, the collective organization is known as Trinity Wall Street. In addition to a diverse congregation drawn from the metro New York area, Trinity includes extensive Music and the Arts programs, including Concerts@One, the Trinity Choir, and the Downtown Youth Choir; Trinity Real Estate; Trinity Grants; St. Margaret's House; Trinity Preschool; Trinity Institute; and numerous opportunities for local and global volunteering, including national and global Mission and Service Trips.

Trinity welcomes close to 13,000 people of all ages, faiths and nationalities to its services, concerts, events, volunteer initiatives and historic sites each week. St. Paul's Chapel, which hosted George Washington after his inauguration in 1789, played a unique role after the attacks of September 11, 2001, when it housed an extraordinary relief ministry to workers at Ground Zero. Today St. Paul's attracts over 20,000 weekly visitors to its 9/11 exhibit and daily Prayers for Peace.
