About Us
Climate Health Now (CHN) is a non-profit organization that organizes and mobilizes the California health community to advocate for equitable, systems-level climate action. Founded in 2019, our membership includes 1,000 volunteer members of the health community across California, including public health professionals, healthcare workers, healthcare administrators, and beyond. We welcome trainees, students, and those who have retired from these fields. We are working toward a future in which the health community is a powerful voice calling for climate policies that protect our health and promote health equity. Our work is grounded in community organizing and centers on three main pillars: legislative and regulatory advocacy, health workplace sustainability, and growth of the climate and health movement across the state.
