    Founded in 1966, LINK Unlimited Scholars is Chicago’s only College & Career Success organization that focuses solely on economically disadvantaged African American youth. Since its inception, LINK has supported over 2,300 scholars in realizing their collegiate dreams. LINK strengthens the academic achievement and leadership experience of high potential youth through one-on-one mentoring, scholarships, academic enrichment and community service. LINK has a proven system of helping scholars develop the personal discipline, academic focus and high ideals necessary for admission to top tier colleges and universities, degree attainment and professional success. LINK was awarded the 2016 National Award of Excellence in Educational Access and was also recognized as a Gold Star mentoring organization by Mentor Illinois.
