    About Us

Cavalli’s Husky & Wolfdog Rescue is a new PACFA-licensed, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Colorado, dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and responsibly rehoming Siberian Huskies and Wolfdogs—two amazing, but most often misunderstood breeds that are frequently failed by traditional shelter systems.

We are a foster-based, grassroots organization in the early stages of growth. Operating primarily from private property outside Colorado Springs, our rescue is currently a one-woman effort focused on building sustainable infrastructure, ethical intake processes, and strong community partnerships.

Our mission is to protect, advocate for, and provide safe second chances to Huskies and Wolfdogs in need. We prioritize quality of care over quantity, with individualized attention, breed-specific rehabilitation, and rigorous adoption screening to ensure long-term placement success.

Founded in memory of Cavalli—a beloved husky whose legacy continues through our work—this rescue is being built with heart, purpose, and an unshakable belief in doing rescue right. We value integrity, transparency, education, and compassion above all.
