    Position Overview

    The Program Manager supports Program Directors across three thematic focus areas to create content in sustainability; equity; and values aligned investing practices. This role requires a dynamic individual with a keen intellect who enjoys serving as a thought partner -and- is motivated by the challenges of event and project production. This position offers a powerful opportunity to dive deep into the impact investing industry, build contacts, and learn alongside top industry investing experts.     Reports to: Supports three Program Directors

    Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 with full health, dental, and retirement benefits

    Location – Non-Negotiable: Mid-town New York City office. Must be available weekdays starting at 9:00 am – 6 pm (anticipate shorter summer hours). In office hours will be 3-4 days weekly and as needed.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Event Management: Assist with program planning and execution of online and in-person educational events – time will be split between Climate Solutions Program, Social Equity and Values Aligned programming. Tasks include group call scheduling, supporting the content creation process (i.e. speaker research, note-taking, managing speaker relationships), hosting webinars, researching event venues, compiling event materials, and post-meeting follow-up. This position is required to attend in person events as the support team member (expect 2 domestic trips per year).
    • Content Generation: Curate news articles and draft news digests; track member engagement across social media platforms; conduct content research as requested by Program Directors.
    • Marketing Support: Update content across digital platforms, including Zoom registration pages, event listings, blog posts, and more; create and edit marketing materials including PowerPoint decks and Word documents; copy-edit written materials for webinars and conferences as needed.
    • Special Projects: Follow trends and breakthroughs in the investment industry and keep the Confluence team updated; assist Program Team with thematic research, industry trends, and landscape assessments, as needed.
    • Administrative Support: Support the Program Team in conference coordination for sessions and field trips. Tasks include coordinating speakers, preparing materials, and assisting with pre-conference and day-of logistics.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have previous experience in business and/or philanthropy
    • 4-year college degree in related field - Bachelor's degree required, masters preferred
    • Strong professional written skills required
    • Keen eye for detail
    • Skills in Salesforce, MailChimp, Squarespace, office 365 a plus
    • Two or more years of experience in project management and/or operational support, preferably at a smaller organization
    • Self-directed and able to work independently; resourceful, strategic problem-solver with a positive attitude
    • Meticulous about details, communication, and follow up
    • Able to take an idea then make and execute an operational plan from concept to completion
    • Quick to learn business systems and confident with excel and CMS
    • Excellent relationship builder, who is able demonstrate a high level of tact, humility, and diplomacy with all internal and external stakeholders
    • Demonstrate discretion and the ability to maintain confidential/sensitive information
    • Experience working effectively in a small team in a ‘roll up the sleeves’ environment
    • Conference support/management experience, highly prized
