    Description

    IHE seeks a motivated self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills who has 3-5 years of experience with event coordination to coordinate onsite events between December 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. This is a part time (up to 20 hours per week on average with ebb and flow) grant-funded contract position.

    Role Requirements:

    • Flexible team player
    • Good people skills
    • 3-5 years experience with event coordination
    • Education background and values alignment preferred
    • Dependable transportation, cell phone and computer with reliable internet
    • Must reside in Maine

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Project Director, Program Manager, IHE facilitators and the ME DOE to facilitate planning for the event
    • Attend all Maine Solutionaries Project team meetings
    • Manage communication with the venue and participants including providing technical support to participants when necessary
    • Coordinate the registration and outreach
    • Prepare, format, and manage materials including in person pickup and delivery
    • Make lodging and meals arrangements
    • Assistance with publicity
    • Facilitate onsite coordination including before, during, and after the event to ensure completion of tasks
    • Participate in person in all activities during the day of the events
    • Assist participants with all paperwork during the events
    • Provide general assistance and help throughout the day at the events
