    SUMMARY

    Under direct supervision of the Program Director(s), the Clinical Consultant/Clinical Supervisor oversees the clinical implementation and operations for the Program(s) and development and oversight of clinical programming, provides training for program staff, and may provide limited direct clinical therapeutic services.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

      1. Collaborate with Assistant Directors, Directors, and Senior Director to oversee and develop annual and ongoing training.
      2. Provide clinical training and oversight for Program staff and interns, as appropriate.
      3. Assure compliance with Program’s clinical requirements, and guidelines.
      4. Oversee Program’s clinical staff’s clinical duties, provide recommendations and training, as needed, and communicate areas of concern to Program Director and Senior Director, as needed.
      5. Conduct periodic chart review of Program participants in collaboration with the Mental Health Therapist and make recommendations to Program Director and Senior Director.
      6. Review Program’s clinical operations internally and in the community and identify and recommend changes to improve service accessibility for participants a minimum of annually, and as needed.
      7. Recommend policy changes that impact clinical care and outcomes; assist in developing and writing policies, as needed.
      8. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with collaborative public and private agencies to support outreach and community partnerships.
      9. Conduct group and/or individual therapeutic services as needed.
      10. Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings, collaborative meetings, and coalitions in the counties served.
      11. Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team and oversee strategies and practices to support its effective functioning.
      12. Develop and oversee clinical training practices and program and provide clinical training and consultation.
      13. Participate in trainings and conferences as appropriate to job duties or required by funding source(s).
      14. Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

      • Master’s or doctorate degree in a social service-related or medical field required and with five years’ experience providing direct therapy.
      • Clinical license or certification such as an LCSW, LMFT is required.
      • Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
      • Strong communication and organizational skills
      • Intermediate technical knowledge with current/prior versions of Microsoft and Apple operating systems, Office applications, Outlook/Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Bi-lingual is preferred with good communication and writing skills.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations, such as would be required to establish totals for timecards, supplies requests, etc.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to use good judgment, to conduct professional and collaborative activities and solve practical problems within established limits and guidelines. Ability to recognize instances in which consultation with Human Resources, Director(s), Senior Director, CEO/ED and/or Board should be sought before a decision is made.
