ESC Local 20 seeks to hire an experienced UnionRepresentative/Organizer. This individual will work closely with the elected leadership and the Executive Director in creating and executing campaigns to build membership and union power. ESC Local 20 is looking for candidates who have at least three (3) years of experience representing workers and bargaining contracts in the labor movement, preferably with technical and professional workers.

Duties include:

contract negotiations and campaigns
providing support for ongoing labor-management structures
grievance administration and contract enforcement
member development and training
supporting ESC’s goals and political program
organizing non-union workplaces to join the union
understanding of technical details in complex contract review and enforcement

Compensation is highly competitive, and step placement is dependent on experience and qualifications. Initial salary range is $118,456-$143,270 depending on experience.
