Ashiyaana (formerly ASHA for Women) is a 501(c) (3) organization that was founded in 1989 to provide culturally-competent support services to South Asian women and children impacted by interpersonal violence also known as domestic violence. Since then, we have expanded to include senior services, and create awareness of and prevent interpersonal violence.
We serve individuals and families of South Asian heritage, with origins in the South Asian countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka without discrimination or bias.
Ashiyanaa’s services are culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed to increase positive outcomes, and include crisis intervention, community and legal referrals, career and mental health counseling, and financial and housing support to empower our clients to become self-reliant.

WORK LOCATION
Hybrid position with the expectation that the candidate will work a regular schedule during normal working hours of 9AM - 5PM. The candidate will be required to be in the office three days per week, subject to change based on the needs of the organization and parameters set by the Board. The candidate will also be expected to attend conferences, programs, and community outreach events, as needed, in the evening and on the weekend.
