    Description

    PASNAP is currently searching for a Digital Communications Specialist who will create digital content across social media platforms and the PASNAP website and will coordinate digital video projects in collaboration with the Communications, Political & Research (CPR) Team.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Conceptualize, produce, write, schedule, shoot, and edit video projects to support the Union's objectives, and to assist local and statewide campaigns.
    • Collaborate with union members and staff to shoot videos.
    • Grow the organization's social media presence across multiple platforms.
    • Ensure regular updates and maintenance of the PASNAP website.
    • Assist with crafting engaging blast email communications for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Create and distribute compelling digital media content for local and statewide use.
    • Develop and monitor monthly performance metrics to track social media and website progress.
    • Work with the members of the Content Creators committee.
    • Provide video and photography coverage for PASNAP events for use on social media and the PASNAP website.
    • Stay updated on digital production and social media trends to anticipate future needs.
    • Design graphics for social media, emails, text blasts, and the website.
    • Work closely with colleagues in the CPR Team.
    • Coordinate advertising campaigns across various social media and internet platforms.
    • Operate studio camera, audio, and lighting equipment proficiently.
    • Utilize video production software and equipment such as switchers, audio consoles, teleprompters, and recording devices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in communication studies, advertising/marketing, public relations, digital media production, or related field is preferred.
    • Minimum of two years of experience in digital media production and social media management.
    • Expertise in producing high-quality video content for multiple platforms, including live streaming.
    • Proficiency in writing, shooting, and editing digital videos.
    • Ability to create engaging social media content and manage various platforms effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to track and engage in social media trends.
    • Experience with online social media scheduling tools and technologies.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups/populations.
    • Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Proficiency in graphic design and photography editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop.
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
    • Outstanding written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage digital media production and social media content effectively.
    • Automobile and valid driver's license.
    • Willingness and ability to travel to other parts of the state.
    • Evidence of success in digital media productions and/or social media (e.g., awards, media coverage, impact) preferred.
