    The Operations and Technology Manager plays a varied but crucial role at Intercambio. Responsibilities fall mainly in assisting with bookkeeping, technology support, HR support and will include a small amount of administrative and scheduling support for the management team.

    This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and reports to the Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be expected to work in our Boulder & Longmont offices each week, and from home.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Accounting Duties

    • Reconciles incoming credit card entries to daily deposits; monthly bank accounts; employee credit card charges
    • Makes routine bookkeeping entries
    • Performs end-of-month accounting tasks
    • Performs data entry and clean-up tasks in Salesforce database

    Administrative Duties

    • Coordinates meeting schedules for CEO
    • Maintains electronic and hard copy files of organizational documents
    • Maintains office supply inventories at both offices
    • Opens and distributes hard copy mail, has a role in incoming cash management
    • May work on or oversee a variety of one-time administrative projects
    • Organizes materials for board meetings and orientations

    Human Resources Duties

    • Supports recruiting process, including organizing applications and coordinating interview schedules
    • Prepares and organizes new employee forms
    • Supports employee onboarding process

    Technology Duties

    • Trains new employees on software systems
    • Sets up new software subscriptions as needed
    • Performs purchasing research
    • Set up new computers for employees and install necessary software.
    • Helps employees with software and hardware issues
    • Troubleshoots and accesses outside vendor support for office hardware issues
    • Assist in coordination and collaboration for LMS technology and support needs

    Facilities Management

    • Oversees repairs, cleaning and maintenance of Boulder and Longmont offices
    • Finds new vendors as necessary
    • Assists in remodeling and repair projects
    • Acts as liaison with other organizations utilizing Intercambio space

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills with people at all levels of an organization 
    • Basic bookkeeping experience
    • Advanced skill at using Microsoft office applications – especially Outlook and Excel 
    • Skill at setting up, using, and training others on software applications 
    • Skilled at paying attention to detail, and at working independently 
    • Comfortable managing multiple priorities 
    • Ability to effectively manage projects 
    • Experience with using and maintaining electronic filing systems 
    • Data entry experience 
    • Driver’s License and a willingness to use independent transportation to drive between Intercambio locations and run errands as needed

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience using SharePoint
    • Experience using Salesforce
    • Experience performing basic bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks

    Starting Salary Range: $58,000 to $62,000 per year. Intercambio has a formal, market-based compensation structure. Candidates who possess the required qualifications usually start in the middle of the advertised salary range. Intercambio also offers a competitive benefits package that includes group health, dental, and vision insurance (Intercambio pays 90% of the premiums), life insurance, vacation and sick leave, Simple IRA after 1 year with a company match of 3%, and funds for annual professional development.
