    Description

    The Program Officer - Rural Vision Keeper will oversee day-to-day operations as well as manage organizational and program development. The ideal candidate will have a vision of thriving, diverse rural U.S. communities, people, and alliances and preferably will have a personal connection with a rural place and/or cause. This person should be adaptable, work well under pressure, and see tasks through completion.

    Responsibilities include assistance with the following activities:

    • Fundraising, communications, record keeping, reporting and documentation;
    • Recruitment of new participants,
    • Coordinating RDLN’s educational and networking activities,
    • Maintaining relationships with partner organizations
    • Identifying and providing resources for participating rural community leaders;
    • Internet research; and Grant management

    Will consider part-time schedule

    Note: Prefer applicant located in New York City, but will consider applicants from other U.S. locations
