    We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Food Relief Program Manager to lead our Food Security & Nutrition Department. This is a full-time position where you will oversee and manage food relief operations, distribution, partnerships, and supportive programs that aim to nurture program success and uphold our philosophy of treating clients with dignity and respect.     Level of Language Proficiency

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Food & Inventory Management: Ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of food while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
      • Staff & Volunteer Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage staff and volunteers, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
      • Partnership Building: Strengthen and expand partnerships with community organizations, local farms, schools, and more.
      • Program Development: Oversee day-to-day operations of food relief programs such as client choice food pantries, mobile food pantries, Feed-A-Kid, Farm to Friend, and more.
      • Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on food relief program activities, ensuring compliance with grants and inspections.
      • Facilities Management: Ensure pantry facilities are clean and well-maintained, handling minor repairs and maintenance.
      • Strategic Program Growth: Collaborate with other departments to drive program results, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met.

    Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred, but not required).
      • At least 3 years of upper-management experience, ideally in program management.
      • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
      • Ability to build and maintain community partnerships and relationships.
      • Proficient in Google Suite and basic computer skills; database management experience a plus.
      • Certifications in food safety, civil rights, and annual sexual harassment training (or willingness to obtain).
      • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
