    Description

    • Manage and oversee most satellite office programs, ensuring their effective execution and impact:
      • Conservation: Expand immigrant access to public lands and recreational opportunities. 
      • Higher Education: Promote equitable access to higher education for immigrants and their families. 
      • Civic Engagement: Use a train-the-trainer model to equip community members to advocate for policies aligned with COFEM’s issue areas.
    • Work closely with staff members to coordinate, support, and implement programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve program reach and efficiency. 
    • Monitor program outcomes and ensure compliance with funding and reporting requirements. 
    • Supervise program staff, volunteers, and contractors to meet program goals.
    • Support, build, and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies. 
    • Join current staff in representing the organization in coalitions, advocacy efforts, and community forums.
    • Work closely with local leaders to mobilize grassroots advocacy efforts. 
    • Identify funding opportunities and assist the Development Manager in writing grant proposals to support program sustainability and continuity.
    • Track grant deliverables, manage program budgets, and ensure compliance with funder requirements. 
    • Provide program data, impact reports, and success stories for funders and stakeholders. 
    • Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant engagement, and services provided. 
    • Prepare and submit reports to leadership, funders, and other stakeholders as required. 
    • Collaborate with and support staff across different programs to foster a cohesive team environment and streamline operations.
    • Work with the Development Manager to develop and implement evaluation tools to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

    Level of Language Proficiency

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in immigration advocacy or community-based services.
    • Experience working with immigrant communities and knowledge of relevant policy issues.
    • Strong leadership and project management skills.
    • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data tracking systems.
