    Description

    The Program Coordinator will engage with patients and volunteers to fulfill the mission of this small, passionate organization to support those affected with pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, a rare neuroendocrine cancer. The Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director and works with dozens of dedicated volunteers to move the Pheo Para Alliance mission forward.

    Responsibilities

    • Patient Education – Support creation and management of education and awareness programs such as webinars, regional and national conferences, Awareness Week and printed and online materials.
    • Event Support - Provide in-person event support for events such as a National Conference, Gala and other grassroots educational, peer support and fundraising events.
    • Committee Support – manage committee communications, create meeting minutes, empower volunteer leadership, schedule meetings, send out correspondence, etc.
    • Peer Support – manage 1:1 and online monthly peer support programs, manage peer support volunteers, events and administration.
    • Marketing & Social Media – Create graphics, update website, post on social media, and send mass emails. Manage annual social media campaigns including Pheo Para Phenom Awards, Awareness Week & NET Cancer Day.
    • Legislative Advocacy – Manage legislative advocacy efforts to represent the patient voice.
    • Other responsibilities as required.
