Background of School

Skylark Junior School, a Christian-founded institution established in 2016, is located in Kkona, Kavumba, within Wakiso District, Uganda. Driven by a powerful vision to provide quality education for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, Skylark offers a safe haven for those who would otherwise have limited access to learning opportunities.

We are actively seeking passionate International Directors who are eager to join hands with Skylark Junior School to drive meaningful change in this community. As part of our mission, we aim to not only expand our school but also introduce transformative projects that will benefit the broader community. These include:

• Constructing a hospital to offer accessible healthcare to the local population.
• Building a vocational school to equip young people with skills for self-sustainability.
• Expanding our current school facilities to better serve our students.
• Supporting 220 orphans with education, housing, food, and other basic necessities.
