Position: Project Administrator, WAN-IFRA WIN

WAN-IFRA WIN is seeking an administrator to support its media development division focusing primarily on the WIN gender equality and inclusion programme. Successful candidates will have strong technical competencies, as well as exceptional communication skills in English and good competency in Arabic. Ideal candidates should have proven experience and comfort working with project management software, content management systems, and data analysis tools.
Technological proficiency will be crucial in ensuring efficient coordination and successful completion of all project-related activities, which includes internal measures to understand and increase audience engagement and conduct results analysis, which are imperative associated requirements to successful project implementation.

WAN-IFRA WIN has been running leadership development programmes and in-house training and coaching for 15 years in the Sub-Saharan Arab Region, 10 years in the Arab region and 3 years in Southeast Asia via support from the Swedish International Cooperation Development Agency and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
WIN has trained more than 7500 journalists and editors in media management, career management, digital strategy, newsroom leadership, gender balance, and managing sexual harassment as part of its’ Leadership Accelerator and Alum programmes and thousands more through. WIN is currently working with more than 250 media partners within its 18 target markets and has a globally oriented implementation team of more than 30 individuals located in more than 20 countries within and outside of intervention countries, working in a highly collaborative yet almost entirely remote setting.
Project Administrator role
This is a key role within the WAN-IFRA WIN team with responsibility for the successful coordination of project management elements of the WIN programme as well as providing general support to the media development division Lead.
We are looking for applicants with strong technical competencies. Ideal candidates should be proficient in project management software, open source content management systems, and data analysis tools. They should have exceptional project and time management capabilities with an ability to work independently yet collaboratively within a remote team structure. Excellent spoken and written English and strong competency in Arabic is a must.
Specific Deliverables:
Key attributes: Exceptional time management and communication skills, collaborative, highly personable, communicative, supportive, and extremely organised and detail oriented. Comfortable working in a remote, global team in a not-for-profit setting.
