JOB TITLE:Business OfficeManager (part-time)
REPORTS TO: Executive directoror his/her Designee
GENERALSUMMARY: Tasked with maintaining an efficient and productive office environment. Manage administrative and bookkeeping activities, and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bookkeeping responsibilities include:AR/AP; reporting; QuickBooks Online knowledge required; use of member management application (NOVI);
- HR responsibilities include:managing PTO; payroll;onboarding; benefits and compliance coordination;
- Office management responsibilities include: supplies; utilities; landlord liaison,cleaning and IT contractor management;
- Administrative responsibilities include:Coordination of membership mailings (print or email), board and committee materials, and other mailings as needed; answering phone and general emails; greeting guests; sorting mail; scanning; drafting routine correspondences as directed;
- Lead event plannerfor major Association events including WinterBusiness Meeting and Annual Summer Meeting;
- Perform other job-related duties as directedby the Executive Director or his/her designee
Experience and Skills Required:
- QuickBooks Online experience required
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong written, verbal,and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Solid computer skills,including MS-Office Suite,and confidence utilizing internet applications
- Knowledge of the Massachusetts cranberry industry a plus
- Valid MA driver’slicense and use of personalcar will be required at times,
- Ability to lift/move approximately 30 pounds on occasion
Job Type & Compensation:
- Year-round, part-time position(15-20 hours/week)
- Plymouth office-based positionwith flexible days/hours offered
- Hourly rate of $27.50/hr
- Not eligible for benefits
