    Description

    The Regional Volunteer Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and actively implementing recruitment, retention and volunteer activities for CASA programs in Mercer, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties, to ensure the availability of qualified applicants to meet CASA’s volunteer needs.

    NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CASE MANAGEMENT POSITION.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Successfully develop and implement outreach strategies to ensure availability of qualified volunteers.
    • Actively engage in the community to implement outreach strategies.
    • Conduct in-person outreach in local communities to ensure a large and diverse pool of potential volunteers.
    • Conduct in-person outreach to congregations, civic groups, sororities/ fraternities and others.
    • Conduct volunteer information sessions and assist with candidate interviews.
    • Analyze, respond to and resolve recruitment issues.
    • Assist in volunteer appreciation events and all CASA development events.
    • Keep necessary records as described by our volunteer management procedures both on paper and in database.

    Details

    • This is a full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend hours
    • Requires travel throughout the coverage region, and the ability to be a consistent active community presence.
