As Senior Manager of Advancement, you will help realize this vision for hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
The Senior Manager of Advancement, reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, will be a critical member of the Advancement Team. You will help ensure success for the Museum’s individual giving and membership programs, support ongoing fundraising efforts and grant writing, and identify and cultivate new supporters. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in inspiring millions of children and visitors for years to come.

Ability to remain standing, walking, or sitting for long periods, move up to 40 lbs., and interact with children and adults in our exhibits, including a three-story climber and slide;
Fast-paced, highly sensory, stimulating work environment due to constant noise and interaction with other sta and visitors, which includes children;
Punctuality and attendance required;
Weekends, occasional evenings, and holidays may be required;

hours + location:
Full-time 9 am – 5 pm position located at National Children’s Museum at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW, as well as at the administrative offices at 1275 Pennsylvania Ave NW. Must be onsite 4 days per week with the ability to work remotely one day per week. Weekend + evening availability and some travel is periodically required.
salary:
$75,000 - $85,000 Commensurate with experience. This is a benefits eligible position.
