    Description

    As a part-time (10-12 hours/week) Case Manager at House of Hope, a homeless shelter in North Bend, WA, you’ll join a dedicated team to create a safe and healing environment for our guests. Your role will involve providing advocacy, counseling, information, referrals, and support to those in our program.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage a caseload of individual residents.
    • Meet with residents weekly, maintaining both electronic and paper client files.
    • Provide crisis intervention, chemical dependency management, trauma-informed care, and referrals.
    • Collaborate with staff to ensure effective communication.
    • Help coordinate and facilitate support groups, therapy sessions, and educational classes.
    • Develop and maintain ongoing guest files.
    • Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the shelter.
    • Attend and participate in required meetings and training.
    • Provide continued support through our wrap-around Aftercare Program.

    Qualificaitons:

    • An Associate Degree is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. A combination of education and four years of relevant experience may be considered.
    • At least three years of experience in social services or a rescue mission setting, with one year in a Case Manager role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

    Work Environment:

    • Hybrid, remote and must be able to be onsite in North Bend, Washington.
    • Frequent sitting, computer use, and telephone communication.
    • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and navigate stairs across multiple floors.
