The Human Resources team seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to serve as an intern. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to USA for UNHCR’s mission and vision. The internship is open to undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology, or a related field, or those who have completed equivalent coursework. This in-person, 10-week assignment is designed to provide exposure to the diverse pillars of Human Resources, including benefits and administration, employee engagement, recruitment, and learning and development.
This internship is ideal for students seeking to build foundational HR knowledge while making a meaningful impact on the organization and its mission. The intern will work closely with HR professionals, gaining valuable insights into the operations and strategy behind a high-performing HR team. This paid internship runs from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Monday and Friday. The intern must be available for the entire 10-week duration. The internship is based at our office in Washington, DC. Room and board are not included.
