    Description

    Summary

Art in Tanzania uses photography in daily operations to give Visibility to community programs. Photographing Tanzania also includes encounters with wildlife and exposures that promote social development, human rights, and specific advocacy content creation.

    Details

Art in Tanzania has been operating since 1996. We receive about 250 participants in our community placements annually.

Art in Tanzania's coalition, partnering with UNICEF, Save the Children, and other organisations in the Children's Agenda in Tanzania, created numerous social media focuses that we actively give Visibility to the programs.

Participating in Art in Tanzania's photography program is a real-time artistic adventure. Your photography skills can also make a real social difference.

The current focus is to make the Swiss Embassy grant program content use music as a tool against corruption.

We use our social media pages for advocacy work. Our Facebook pages have more than 50K followers.

Academic-level team leaders are supervising your internship daily. In addition, we monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure you proceed well in your study program.

The internship outcome is learning to use and get experience implementing your education in developing country conditions with limited capacity and better understanding the opportunities in a fast-growing economy.

Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

The program is ongoing, so the start dates are adjustable. Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower our daily work with the communities.

Daily tasks include practical fieldwork, planning, reporting, and visibility work.

The start and end dates are flexible as all programs are ongoing, many since 1996.

You and your visiting friends can enjoy low-cost, sustainable safaris and tours.

We commonly have 15-40 students from different parts of the world, from over 400 universities we cooperate with, and representing a variety of professions.

The Benefits and Perks are as follows:

Accommodation and meals are personal expenses. For 1-13 weeks, EUR 175 per week covers accommodation with breakfast and dinner, the student compound facilities, and professional tutoring. From week 14 onwards, the cost is EUR 125 per week.

Airport transfer is EUR 60 one way, which is a personal expense.

A charity visa for immigration, which costs USD 50, is a personal expense. A multiple-entry visa for less than 12 months is USD 250.
