Seeking:
A current law school student, law school graduate, or advanced undergraduate Legal Studies major.
Internship/Clerkship:
- Assist in the final editing of 100 page federal class action complaint (filed on behalf of over a million plaintiffs - most poor and individuals of color - who have been permanently prohibited from applying to, or attending, any undergraduate or graduate school in the United States.
- Intern/Clerk can also participate in client assistance and interaction, as well as work with national media already in process.
- Principal is an attorney of 38 years, who has successfully brought a class action against colluding employer corporations, on behalf of thousands of victim employees. Principal has additional expertise gained while earning his Economics degree with honors, from Duke University.
Candidate should:
- Have outstanding writing and editing skills;
- Preferably, be familiar with use of Lexis/Nexis or Westlaw to create or verify citations.
- Work well independently, and in a team; and participate with passion;
Also helpful but not necessary:
- Familiarity with the Federal Districts in New York or Massachusets;

- Already one in depth story (and interviews) of this class action by NPR, and ikely to be very high profile, important case.
