    We are currently searching for a Director of Philanthropy for a Charitable Foundation Nonprofit. The position is a Hybrid, Permanent Hire, and Full-time Opportunity.

    POSITION TITLE: Director of Philanthropy

    SALARY RANGE: $107,758-$112,547

As the Director of Philanthropy, you will lead a dedicated team of philanthropy advisors, develop and implement revenue strategies, and engage with high-net-worth donors to drive contributions that support our mission. You’ll be at the forefront of building strong donor relationships and ensuring effective stewardship.

    Our Ideal Candidate:

    • Holds 6+ years of fundraising experience, with a proven track record in securing high-level gifts and managing donor relationships.
    • Demonstrates leadership experience, ideally in fundraising or development team settings.
    • Possesses excellent relationship management and communication skills, with a strong ability to engender trust and handle confidential information.
    • Exhibits self-direction while thriving in a collaborative team environment, inspiring and motivating experienced professionals.
    • Holds a four-year degree or equivalent experience; CAP designation preferred or willingness to achieve it within 24 months, with tuition supported by the organization.
    • Has strong computer skills and a valid driver's license for travel around the state.

    How You Will Spend Your Day:

    • Manage, train, and inspire a team of five philanthropy advisors who serve as primary relationship managers for current and prospective donors.
    • Develop contributed revenue strategies and campaigns, ensuring effective implementation and tracking of progress against key performance indicators.
    • Engage and steward an individual portfolio of donor relationships, developing programming and events in partnership with the Director of Donor Operations.
    • Lead the philanthropy advisor team in refreshing the legacy and planned giving program.
    • Collaborate with the Communications Department to create targeted marketing strategies for high-net-worth prospects.
    • Represent the organization at public events and manage special projects as assigned.
