    Administrative Assistant

    Location: North Bethesda (1-4 x per month, Hybrid)

    Duration: ASAP – End of June

    Overview:

    We are partnering with a public health nonprofit in North Bethesda Maryland for a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our advocacy initiatives while a team member is on maternity leave.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Capitol Hill Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule meetings for our team with Congressional offices.
    • Hill Day Support: Assist with planning and logistics for our patient advocacy training and Capitol Hill event.
    • Medicaid Patient Story Gathering: Conduct outreach to patients, collect and document their stories, and ensure accuracy in storytelling.
    • Event Outreach: Call and remind attendees about our Hill Day.
    • Invoice Processing: Manage and process invoices related to events and advocacy initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and track project progress.
    • Excellent writing skills to accurately capture and document patient stories.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
