    Description

    Our client, a leading medical association, is seeking a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist for a temporary position through the end of the year, with a strong potential for extension or temp-to-hire. This role is ideal for an early to mid-level professional with a solid foundation in digital marketing, especially in paid social media marketing and search engine marketing.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the placement of paid social media marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the Social Media (SoMe) team to support the development and execution of organic social media content.
    • Oversee search engine marketing (Google and Bing) and coordinate with marketing, communications, and web teams across divisions.
    • Track, analyze, and report on social media and search engine marketing campaign performance.
    • Provide actionable insights and lead improvements for future campaigns.
    • Support the team by triaging requests and establishing best practices for social media engagement.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in communications, marketing, or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of experience in social media, with 2+ years focusing on paid social and search engine marketing management and strategy.
    • 2+ years of experience in search engine marketing (Google and Bing Ads).
    • Proficiency in social media tools such as Sprout, Canva, and Google Analytics.
    • Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with the healthcare or association industry.
    • Experience collaborating with senior leadership or management.

    Work Environment & Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid work arrangement: 40% in-office (approximately two days per week).
    • Must be willing to travel for 1-2 events per year.
    • Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a medical or religious exemption.
    • Strong interest in long-term assignments, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
