Financial Management

Lavanda is an LGBT+ Music and Arts organization bringing together Boston's Queer community events. 

We are very heavily focused on community, connection, diversity, and inclusion. We want to get as many queer folk involved as possible! We believe that the best work comes from connecting and learning from one another. Every member brings a different and valuable perspective to our team, and we're always looking for additons to our team. 

Please note that all positions are volunteer only. We are a new grassroots organization with a very limited budget and are looking for folks who want to join us out of the love of our community, to gain experience, and put on your resume.  

All Positions are Hybrid and most tasks can be done virtually. - You do not have to be in Boston to apply 

Description:

We are building a team to help us manage our expenses. As a memeber of the finance team you will:

• Record sponsirship, grant, and funding contributions
• Develop budgets for community events, concerts, and our annual music and arts festival Camp Fest
• work with other departments to make sure budgeting goals are being met and allocate funds to these departments
• track expenses, profit, etc
• manage and create goals for growth

Ideal Candidate:

If you are qualified in any of these areas or fit any part of this description you might be a good fit! We do not expect one person to do all of this. We are building a team of people to work together.

• Queer/LGBTQIA+, passionate about the community, and or ally
• Passionate, knowledgeable, and/or curious about sober community spaces
• experience in any of the areas listed above
• College student or recent graduate
