Treasurer

Dear Nature Enthusiast and Earth Advocate,

United Green CORE is seeking a kind-hearted individual to join our team as a volunteer Treasurer. This role is perfect for a retiree who loves nature and wants to make a positive impact on our planet.

Our mission is simple: we bring people together to care for the Earth. We believe in being creative, open, respectful, and understanding in everything we do.

As our Treasurer, you would:

• Keep an eye on our finances (don't worry, it's very light bookkeeping!).
• Share simple financial updates with our team.
• Help us follow the rules for managing money.
• Assist with planning our nature education programs.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has some experience with numbers and finances.
• Cares deeply about the environment.
• Can spare about an hour every three months for a team meeting.
• Nonprofit bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required.

This volunteer role is a great way to use your skills to help young people who are passionate about protecting nature. You'll be part of a friendly team from all over the USA, working together to make a difference.
